I’m Caleb Minson—producer, co-host, and voice behind Cumberland Unfiltered, where the mic is real, the conversations are raw, and the truth doesn’t come with a corporate filter.
Born in Illinois and raised in the woods of North Jacksonville, I grew up with one boot in the dirt and the other chasing stories. That mix of country grit and creative fire led me from submarines and security ops in the U.S. Navy to filmmaking, music, and investigative journalism.
But nothing hits harder—or matters more—than a table where people speak freely. That’s why I built The Cumberland Tavern: a modern-day town square where culture, politics, truth, and humanity collide.
I don’t come from an ivory tower. I come from the barn, the back roads, and the belief that freedom means saying the hard thing, even when it’s uncomfortable. Whether we’re talking small-town school boards, big-money corruption, or the lives of everyday Americans, I bring a voice for those who work hard, think for themselves, and still believe in common sense.
Cumberland Unfiltered isn’t about ratings or respectability. It’s about reclaiming the conversation—and giving the mic back to the people.
My mission? To bridge divides, challenge narratives, and make sure the truth gets a seat at the table. If you’re tired of being talked at—pull up a chair.
Let’s talk like neighbors. Loud, honest, and unfiltered.
